Positives

The Positive was originally a simple portable organ that was often used as an accompanying instrument. It had one manual and much later acquired a hanging pedal. The Positive was used until the 18th century and was then replaced by the harpsichord.

Nowadays, churches and individuals have begun to appreciate this instrument again.
